Remedial Massage
Remedial Massage is treatment designed to address a particular issue of the soft- tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments, connective tissue) that may or may not be related to something that has occurred as a result of a sporting activity.
Remedial Massage can help to alleviate painful symptoms resulting from:
- postural problems
- accidents
- sporting injuries – including repetitive overuse injuries
- operations
- general aches or pains that occur in the back, neck, shoulder, hip, legs, feet, arms or hands
- osteoarthritis
- frequent headaches
- migraines
- stress
Remedial Massage utilises a range of specific techniques including:
Muscle Energy Techniques / Soft-Tissue Release / Deep Tissue Techniques / Neuromuscular Techniques / Myofascial Release Techniques / Cross-fibre Friction
Treatments are designed to match the individual and their symptoms, and may include referral to the Chiropractor (Dr Pamella Chu), at the Clinic. Referrals are non-mandatory, but are the considered advice of the practitioner.
