Our Courses: One Day Workshops 9.30am - 5.30pm
Workshops are restricted to a maximum of four people and will be held with a minimum of two. The low number of participants offers high tutor interaction and hands-on practice, maximising the effectiveness of taking CPD in this way.
Indian Head Massage
Adapted from Ayurvedic Medicine, this deeply relaxing therapy really does calm the client and relieve stress. This workshop covers the benefits, consultation process and an extremely effective sequence performed over the shoulders, upper arms, neck, head and face.
Managing Lower Back Pain
One of the biggest causes of work-place absence is back pain. The number of people suffering from chronic back pain is extremely high. This workshop introduces you to some advanced techniques (deep tissue & Trigger Point Release) that you can use to help alleviate clients’ pain, and gives suggestions that you can pass on, to help them manage that pain effectively.
Work-Related Upper Limb Disorders (WRULDs)
Another group of musculo-skeletal disorders that has become so prevalent in the work-place that the Government have had to introduce practices that employers are legally bound to follow in order to help prevent the escalation of these disorders. The workshop introduces advanced techniques (deep tissue & Trigger Point Release) that aids effective pain-relief and management of these conditions that may affect the neck, shoulders, arms and hands.
